Yes! If your pool is equipped with an automation system, such as a Jandy Aqualink®, Pentair IntelliTouch®, EasyTouch®, or a similar controller, we can integrate your solar pool heating system into your existing automation.

Once connected, you'll be able to control your solar heating system from:

• Your smartphone or tablet
• A wall-mounted control panel
• Your existing pool automation interface

This allows you to easily adjust your pool temperature, monitor system operation, and manage all of your pool equipment from one convenient location.

Not necessarily. While a leak is possible—especially as your solar pool heating system ages—water loss is often caused by natural evaporation rather than a plumbing or solar system issue.

When warm pool water is exposed to cool air, wind, or low humidity, evaporation can increase significantly. This is especially common during cooler nights, windy conditions, or when the pool is being heated.

Heliocol® solar pool heating systems do not require annual maintenance, unlike many other solar pool heating brands that recommend periodic servicing.

While routine maintenance isn't necessary, we do recommend having your system professionally inspected after any major storm, hurricane, or high-wind event. A system evaluation can identify damaged panels, loose mounting hardware, leaks, or other issues before they become more costly repairs.

The two most common causes are:

• The solar controller is turned off. It's easy to accidentally switch the controller to the "Off" position or change the settings. Make sure the controller is set to Auto or Solar On, depending on your system.
• A faulty temperature sensor. Your solar controller relies on roof and water temperature sensors to determine when heating is needed. If one of these sensors has failed or is giving inaccurate readings, the system may not activate even when conditions are ideal.
